Consular Legalisation

For certain countries, after a document has been notarised and/or apostilled, it will need to be attested by their United Kingdom consulate.

Common countries which require consular legalisation include: China, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.

Our location based in the heart of London with the key contacts built up over the years means we can offer a fast, discrete and smooth process for getting this done.

We charge a fixed fee for handling the consular legalisation, irrespective of the number of documents you need legalising. In addition, each consulate will charge their own fee which can vary depending on the type of document.

Certain consulates require additional administrative paperwork to be submitted together with the document. We will advise you on the outset if we need you to provide us with any specific documentation or paperwork.

For commercial documents going to certain Arab countries, additional stamps from the London Chamber of Commerce and Arab-British Chamber of Commerce may be required before the document is presented to the consulate. Don’t worry; we will handle this for you.
